Good Beer offers an $8 tasting flight and $6 drafts at its small bar. Or, just take your bottles, cans or growler purchases straight home.


Top Hops focuses on both enjoying and learning about beer. The cozy Lower East Side shop has over 600 varieties of beer and more than 20 draughts on tap. Beers vary seasonally, and come from around the world. You can grab a brew or tasting flight at the bar, or bring your own purchase straight to the bar for a $2 opening fee. What's more, Top Hops hosts intimate classes like the Exploration Of Hops and Beers Of Italy for $50 per person, including beer.


It's easy to breeze right by Beer Table Pantry. The pantry-sized shop is tucked into transportation hub Grand Central Station. But the compact store is worth a visit, especially if you're gearing up for a long trip or looking for a hostess gift. Reign Low: The pony bar have the best craft brewed beer.. I really love this place my #1 pick out of all the bars in Manhattan! Have some soft pretzels made w/beer batter and a crafted brew ladies as a starter!

Lauren Elizabeth: Great craft beer selection. Staff didn't seem as knowledgable as they should have been when I asked for a recommendation but I also went in before a snow storm and it was very busy. Will try again.

Brewmaster, Christopher Basso A graduate of both Boston University and the French Culinary Institute, Christopher began his brewing career at the Brooklyn Brewery. A founding partner/owner of Newburgh Brewing Company, Christopher has created a diverse breadth of offerings from Newburgh Brewing. Since 2012, he has personally brewed or overseen the brewing of over 50 different styles of beer. With a culinary background, Christopher has a keen appreciation for the beautiful pairing of beer and food. He brings that appreciation to each and every recipe.
