Escape From Death Block 13 (2021) _BEST_
Weighing it all out, Escape from Deathblock 13 is an average low-budget action film. Yes, it has some problems, but it also has a lot more going for it than plenty of films that found a distributor a lot quicker. Certainly worth a weekend watch with pizza and plenty of beer.

Robert Bronzi (Death Kiss) is back in another low-rent 80's style action flick & it's damn good fun.Charles Bronson lookalike Bronzi plays Mike Kovacs a foreign man in America to find out why his brother died & it leads him to a drugs smuggling operation & into the prison system. Bronzi is sent into a deadly prison as an undercover informant for the US government & must face the brutality of it's corrupted guards & evil warden. Death Block 13 is a prison action film crafted in the style of those Awesome old school one's we grew up watching on video like Tango & Cash & Fortress & Lock-up & Death Warrant, but this one is made on a very tiny budget. The effects are ridiculously cheap & tacky & the fight scenes are slow & bizarre just like most of the weird characters here but it's fun in it's cheap grindhouse type of way. I couldn't help but enjoy it's craziness. Of course this isn't as good as the blood soaked Masterpiece Death Kiss but it's still a fun retro action flick.Director Gary Jones is a great movie Director within the low-budget B-movie genre & has gave us such Awesome gems as SPIDERS (a Favourite of mine) & CROCODILE 2: DEATH SWAMP (Great Sequel) & MOSQUITO (a Cult Classic B-movie) & he's done alot more good work in T. V & other flicks but those three films are GREAT Creature Feature B-movies.Often the Audio isn't very good in the prison scenes but it's forgiven for what director Gary Jones (Spiders) managed to pull off on an obvious small budget. Bronzi is good at just looking tough & looking like Bronson & carries himself like an old school 80's action hero. There's some cheesiness of course but the action scenes are decent & the action-packed & bloody prison escape last act is well worth the wait. The big muscled bald guy called Bunyan is decent along with Bronzi & i liked the 80's retro feel to it all. The score is really good also. Other actors throughout are crappy but that really doesn't matter in a cheap action flick like this. I got 80's action vibes from Death Block 13 so it done it's job in my opinion. Bronzi does have a strong screen presence & is a perfect low-budget, B-movie old skool Action hero & i hope he has a good career ahead.A low-budget Action B-movie that is bloody good fun.I'm looking forward to more Bronzi action flicks.
Although the mortality rate of osteosarcoma (OS) patients has improved, there are still many unsolved problems concerning how to reduce recurrence and metastasis. In the tumor microenvironment, immune escape plays a more important role in tumor progression and development. Many costimulatory molecules of the B7 family have been reported to be involved in regulating immunological interactions between OS cells and immune cells. Among these molecules, B7-H1 and its receptor, programmed death-1 (PD-1), have been the focus of the fields of tumor immunology and have been recently applied in clinical trials of therapies for several solid tumors. These therapies, referred to as B7-H1/PD-1 checkpoint blockade therapies, are designed to block the interaction between the two molecules. Although the mechanism has been reported in some malignancies, the specific impact of B7-H1/PD-1 expression on OS has not been well defined. Here, we review the expression, function, and regulatory mechanism of the B7-H1/PD-1 axis in OS and introduce and compare the advantages and disadvantages of B7-H1/PD-1 immunotherapies in OS.
Electrocardiogram (A and B). Electrocardiogram on admission showed third-degree atrioventricular block with ventricular escape rhythm, 34 bpm (A). Resting electrocardiogram at 9-month follow-up without atrioventricular conduction disorder (B).
In sarcoidosis with primary pulmonary involvement, many patients spontaneously enter remission without therapy. However, in CS, steroid therapy has been shown to promote survival and is generally considered the first-line treatment.12 Early administration of immunosuppressants can halt or reverse cardiac damage.5 A long-term benefit of steroid therapy in reducing clinical morbidity and mortality has been demonstrated.13 Steroid therapy has been reported to be effective in AV block,14 and a meta-analysis of 10 studies found that steroids improved about half of the patients with AV block but not those without AV block.15 Early initiation of steroid therapy appears to be critical for AV block recovery, which is not seen in patients in whom therapy is initiated later than 1 month after diagnosis.16 However, there is evidence that steroids are unable to reduce fatal cardiac events in high-grade AV block despite reducing active inflammation in 18F-FDG-PET/CT.17 The side effects of long-term steroid therapy such as weight gain, hyperglycaemia, increased risk of infections, or osteoporosis have led to an increasing usage of steroid-sparing therapies with synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs and biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs, such as methotrexate or azathioprine. Although data from retrospective studies showed benefit of steroid-sparing agents, to date there are no published randomized controlled trials regarding the role of steroid-sparing agents in systemic or CS.18
