Buy Tool Chest

To be sure, I thought I was a touch nuts because of this personality quirk. But after reading the oral histories and diaries of craftsmen from the last 300 years, I found it's actually a common trait among artisans. I am drawn, married or perhaps addicted to the things that allow me to coax wood into new shapes. At the same time, my relationship with my tools is like a tumultuous combination of an Italian family drama, a bigamist's decision about who to sleep with and a careful gardener.

We have invested millions of dollars in our own test labs and factories, so our tools will go toe-to-toe with the top professional brands. And we can sell them for a fraction of the price because we cut out the middleman and pass the savings on to you. It's just that simple!

Wow! Finally I am the owner of a Kennedy Tool Box! I should had done this a long time ago.As advertised, it feels super heavy duty. This Cantilever Box is very well built. I think this will the last small tool box I will own since I believe it will outlast me.Keep building quality USA made products.

It's not just the design of the tool cabinet which is exquisite, but rather the execution of all of the individual components, from the hand made tools to the whole set up of the shop; each part is phenomenal. The folding knifes with beautiful inlays in the handles are totally astounding The boats illustrate the abundant skill and perfection that's put forth in their creation. Very impressive indeed.

Very nice of course. But looks too much like a museum, I'd be afraid to use that shop, I might get dust on the floor or put a tool in the wrong place (gasp!). I prefer my dusty, slightly disorganized and but highly used shop with my well worn tools and shavings on the floor.

Dan,You are a gifted woodworker with great attention to the details and the dovetails. I also admired the cabinet for the drills, sanders and other power cord items with the full glass panel door; this serves well to see, open and acquire the tool you need for the next task. Great job and thank you for the inspiration............Best regards.

What I would like to say to FWW though is this. Unless you own a business, very rarely does anyone have this kind of space to work in. I would love to be able to walk around my table saw or jointer or planer or workbench or miter saw or router table or HC mortise or the myriad of other tools and raw wood hanging on my walls. Try fitting all this in 300 square feet without spending half your time moving tools, getting tools out, putting tools away, and just generally creating enough space to perform whatever step you are currently working on.

Tool chests are the perfect storage option for homeowners who want a permanent place to keep a large number of tools. Read our review below to learn about the best tool chests available. The products included in this article are available at various home improvement stores, local home centers, and online retailers like Amazon.

Tool chests, similar to tool bags or toolboxes, allow you to store all of your tools in one place. They often look like a cabinet with drawers and have wheels so that you can easily push them around. The biggest advantage of choosing a tool chest over other storage options is that you get more storage space, making it ideal for homeowners with a large collection of tools.

While this toolbox costs more than the other ones in this review, customers felt like the price was worth it because the tool chest is durable and made of stainless steel. One common complaint was that the tool chest was difficult to assemble.

Customers said this tool chest was big enough to fit all of their home improvement tools, including hand tools, power tools, and fasteners. They also said that the drawers opened and closed easily. However, a few customers said that it took longer than expected for their tool chest to arrive.

Customers said that although the tool chest is made of plastic instead of metal, the plastic is thick, which makes it feel more durable. Customers also liked that you could stack several drawers on top of each other. However, some customers thought the Amazon product photos were misleading and made the tool chest look bigger than it is.

Customers said this toolbox had everything you could want for tool storage. It has several drawers for storage, a liner roll to prevent tools from rolling around, wheels for transportation, and a lock and key for security. However, some customers received a damaged tool chest.

Tool chests are meant to hold a variety of tools, but some offer more storage and versatility than others. From mobility to security, here are a few factors to consider before purchasing a tool chest.

Standard tool chests have a few drawers for storage. However, you can also get a versatile chest that has a wooden worktop or a detachable top half that acts as a toolbox. For example, the Seville Classics and Husky chests in this review are examples of tool chests with worktops, and the Goplus 6-Drawer is an example of a chest with a detachable top.

Tool chests are steel cabinets that hold all of your tools. Oftentimes, they come with wheels to allow for some movement. Toolboxes are small boxes composed of metal, composite, or plastic that are primarily used to carry your tools from place to place. They typically open at the top and have a handle or wheels for easy portability.

This refers to the weight of the tool chest and the maximum loading capacity. If your tool chest has a maximum product weight of 2,000 pounds, and the tool chest itself weighs 200 pounds, that leaves 1,800 pounds for storing tools.

If you are a mechanic, contractor, handyman, or DIYer, then you know the importance of having a metal tool chest. A tool chest can save you lots of time searching for the right socket or Phillips head to complete a project, making it a great storage solution. With that in mind, here are what we consider to be the top-rated tool chests.

Handheld tool chests are the most commonly bought design and are the perfect size for carrying around a small assortment of tools. There are models with multiple drawers for storing hardware and different compartments to separate tools. Besides carrying tools, handheld tool chests are also used by hobbyists and others to carry various supplies.

These are the big brother to smaller handheld tool chests. There are drawers of different breadth and depth to accommodate tools of all sizes as well as a top storage compartment with a lid. Stationary tool chests are usually made of stainless steel and can stack on top of larger rolling tool chests.

The two differences between stationary and tool chests on wheels are that the latter is much larger and also sits on wheels. The wheels allow these tool chests to be easily handled while hauling around hundreds of pounds of tools. Rolling tool chests are a favorite of professional mechanics and in large factories where the need arises to move large tools from one spot to another.

Designed to fit into the bed of a pickup truck, these tool chests are ideal for taking your tools on the road to a remote job site. These tool chests are a favorite among contractors, construction workers, and everybody else who needs to travel with their tools.

Founded in 1924, the Maryland-based tool company builds some of the best-quality tool chests, hand and power tools, and accessories in the industry. The company is popular among the construction, woodworking, and manufacturing industries as well as by private homeowners because of products like the DWST08204 Tough System Case. 041b061a72
