Youth Frameworks for Success: The Six-Unit Life Planning Curriculum
A structured, coach-facilitated program that takes young people ages 7–24 from self-discovery to a written Winning Life Game Plan — covering the six areas of life that determine whether a young person thrives.
The Curriculum Structure
Six Units. Every Area of Life.
Each unit of Youth Frameworks for Success builds on the last, guiding participants through the knowledge, skills, and self-reflection they need to build a meaningful plan for their future.
Unit 1: Identity & Values Every plan starts with knowing who you are. Students explore their personal identity, core values, and what drives them — building the foundation that every other decision rests on.
Unit 2: Goals & Time Management Vision without a plan is just a wish. Students set short, mid, and long-term goals across five life domains, build a personal goal tracker, and learn the time habits that make follow-through real.
Unit 3: Resilience & Growth Mindset Life doesn't follow a straight line. Students build the mental tools to handle setbacks, adapt their plans, and keep moving — anchored in a growth mindset that turns obstacles into data.
Unit 4: Creativity & Entrepreneurship Young people who understand economic principles and their own creativity become builders, not just workers. This unit introduces entrepreneurship fundamentals, pitch skills, and the connection between ideas and income.
Unit 5: Communication & Leadership Everything a young person achieves will involve other people. This unit builds public speaking, relationship skills, and the leadership habits that help them show up, speak clearly, and lead well.
Unit 6: Family & Community The strongest plans are built inside strong relationships. Students strengthen connections with family and community, and develop the social support networks that sustain long-term growth.
The Winning Life Game Plan
Every Student Leaves With a Written Plan
The capstone of the curriculum is the Winning Life Game Plan — a written, structured document the student builds across all six units. It includes:
-
Personal mission statement
-
SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)
-
Goal tracker across five life domains
-
Workbook and reflection journal
-
Family conversation guide
-
Certificate of completion
At the end of every program cohort, students present their Life Game Plan at a public showcase — practicing public speaking, building confidence, and celebrating what they built.
