Too Many Youth Are Drifting Without Direction

In Baltimore and communities across the nation, too many young people are growing up without the guidance, opportunities, and practical life skills needed to build a successful future. Many youth struggle to find purpose, confidence, and a clear path forward while facing daily pressures that can limit their vision for what is possible.

They often face:

• A lack of clear life direction and goal-setting skills

• Limited access to entrepreneurship and financial education

• Exposure to negative environments that discourage growth and leadership

• A disconnect between traditional education and real-world success

 

Without meaningful intervention, talent is overlooked, confidence declines, and cycles of poverty, hopelessness, and underachievement continue. Every young person has potential, but potential must be developed, guided, and supported.
